The SE Michigan Vintage Computer Club is excited to announce our sixth event on January 18th, 2025 from 11am to 5pm!
Location: Grace Chapel (Gymnasium), 2515 N. Williams Lake Rd., Waterford Twp, MI 48327
We're also excited to announce our special guest, Joe Strosnider from Joe's Computer Museum (see https://jcm-1.com for more info). Joe will be leading a build event where you'll learn some basic soldering skills and assemble yourself a BlueSCSI, a device for replacing hard disks in classic Macintosh, Apple IIgs, Atari, Amiga and various other classic computers and professional audio gear. There will be limited soldering hardware available on site, but it might be worth bringing your own soldering tool and soldering supplies.
Eric, from Eric's Edge (https://www.youtube.com/@EricsEdgeVideos), will also be on hand to instruct new BlueSCSI users how to create a file to run a BlueSCSI hard disk image on your classic Macintosh machines.
Joe will also bring a slew of his other JCM offerings, such as Pulpo's brilliant PicoGUS v2, the A2Pico Multi-Function Card and the Pico Micro Mac.
If you are interesting in the BlueSCSI build event or if you are interested in attending, please sign up here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hFzoVbbZcKuYDbd4i6HD_vWPdZHaTZ5sdHXcvHLCv70/edit?usp=sharing
