SDX 45 Summer Social: Exploring Wâhkôhtowin

SDX invites you to join us for our Summer Social event! The event starts at the Action Lab with a prototype and ends at Irrational Brewing Company. The folks from Shift Lab, in collaboration with the Indigenous Knowledge and Wisdom Centre, and Yellowhead Indigenous Education Foundation, will share a prototype for the SDX community to test and provide feedback on, The Exploring Wâhkôhtowin Game.

After the session and gameplay provided by Shift Lab and friends, we will head over to Irrational Brewing Company to socialize. Please note, food and drinks are not provided by SDX.

A limited number of 30 tickets will be available for this event. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 29th at 2:00pm through Eventbrite and will be available on a first come first served basis.

The event will be indoors at Action Lab and will then move to Irrational Brewing Company down the street for food and drinks at 7 pm.

Exploring Wâhkôhtowin @ Action Lab: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Social Gathering @ Irrational Brewing Company: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Explore the journey of Exploring Wâhkôhtowin from idea to reality, diving into its significance in Canada's history through gameplay that focuses on the relationships forged through Treaty between First Nations, the Creator, and the Crown.

What's up with the registration fee?

SDX charges a small registration fee to help cover the costs associated with hosting. Registration fees can vary depending on the costs associated with a particular event - catering, travel, guest presenters, etc. We believe that we offer high quality, unique, and affordable learning and networking opportunities in the systemic design and systems change space.

I want to come, but the ticket cost is tricky for me right now...
