Jackrabbit Stampede is scheduled to return at 7:30 p.m. on April 8, as well as 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on April 9, 2022! After two years of COVID-19 restrictions, the 66th annual Jackrabbit Stampede will welcome back 15 competing schools and over 270 college rodeo athletes from the Great Plains Region to the Brookings Swiftel Center! Voted many times Great Plains Region "Rodeo of the Year", the Jackrabbit Stampede is produced by Sutton Rodeos, the Brookings Swiftel Center and the SDSU Rodeo Club. Rodeo events include Bareback Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Goat tying, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, and Bull Riding. Tickets can be purchased at the Swiftel Center Box Office in advance, or the day of the show. General admission and VIP ticket options are available.
