SDC Art Competition 2024

We are thrilled to announce the SDC Art Competition 2024 an online national-level art competition aimed at inspiring students across India to creatively engage with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This competition offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with global goals and share their vision for a sustainable future through art.

About the Competition

The SDC Art Competition 2024 celebrates student talent and encourages them to use their artistic skills to explore sustainable development themes. Winning entries will gain special recognition with top works showcased at an exclusive exhibition at the United Nations!

Competition Details

• Theme: “Art for a Sustainable Future”
• Focus: Artwork inspired by one or more of the 17 SDGs
• Eligibility: Ages 8 – 32

Age Categories

• Junior: 8 – 10 years
• Senior: 11 – 13 years
• Super Senior: 14 – 17 years
• Youth: 18 – 32 years

How to Participate

To enter participants must register by the deadline. Full submission guidelines competition rules and resources on the SDGs are also available on our website.

Each participant will receive a United Nations Accredited Certificate and a chance to contribute to the global sustainability dialogue through art. This event is designed to encourage students to think creatively about the challenges of sustainable development.

Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: December 10 2024
• Drawing Submission Deadline (Online): December 20 2024
• Result Announcement: December 27 2024
• Original Artwork Submission Deadline: December 30 2024

Recognition and Prizes

• Top 50 Artworks: Displayed at the United Nations and awarded with a trophy medal and printed certificate.
• Top 400 Artworks: Receive a medal and printed certificate.
• E-Certificate for all participants.

Registration Fee

A nominal entry fee of INR 200 is required upon registration.

General Instructions for Participation

1. Register: Complete the registration form on our website.
2. Payment: Make the entry fee payment through the available payment options.
3. Receive Unique Number: Confirmation will be sent via email or WhatsApp along with a unique registration number.
4. Create and Submit Artwork: Draw your artwork according to the theme and upload it on the submission portal by the deadline.
5. Send Original Artwork: Finalists must send their original artwork by December 30 for evaluation.
6. Winner Selection and Recognition: Winners will be chosen based on the assessment of original submissions and awarded accordingly. Winning materials will be sent via pay-on-delivery starting January 5 2025.
