This month's CTO Talks brings together two perspectives: one advocating for AI acceleration, the other defending engineering rigor, code ownership, and long-term reliability. This isn't a typical panel. Both speakers are taking a clear stance and working through it in the same room.

Tess Chu, Director at ServiceNow, brings 20 years leading large-scale technology initiatives across consumer and enterprise sectors. Her expertise spans distributed systems, infrastructure, scalability, and architecture.

Larry Heminger, CTO at Jabra Hearing, brings 24 years of product and engineering leadership across software, hardware, and cloud. He scaled teams from startup to successful public exit at EcoATM and led AI modernization efforts at Calsense. Larry earned his BS in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, an executive MBA from USC, and was a San Diego Top Tech award honoree in 2020.

Lena Skliarova-Mordvinova, CEO of Perseverance, will moderate. She has been building and scaling AI companies for over 20 years and works directly with engineering leaders on AI strategy and product architecture.
