10:00am – 10:30am: Author Pat Simmons reads 'The Cat Thief' and 'Ziggy's Zoo' (plus activities)

10:30am – 11:30am: Zine-making activities & kids book sale

11:30am – 12:30pm: Fantasy map illustration with author Liv Lorkin

Escape into a fantasy world build empires raging rivers and winding pebbled roads. In this fun and creative workshop kids will explore the ancient art of map-making bringing to life their fantasy world. Using imagination and play we'll learn how to design landmarks use symbology and craft a story behind your map. At the end of the session you'll have a map worthy of great adventure. Perfect for explorers aged 8-12.
