Scurry Dog Half Day Workshops!
'Confidence with Distance' Workshop.
Build confidence with your distance skills, from stops, recalls and directional casts to taking a line, send outs and anchor hunt. This workshop will help you and your dog hone these skills.
Our Scurry Dog Workshops are designed to help handlers and dogs dive deeper into specific Scurry Dog skills, games, and concepts in a fun, supportive, and practical learning environment. Whether you are new to the Games or already progressing through your Scurry Dog journey, these workshops provide an opportunity to build skills, improve teamwork, and develop a more thoughtful, engaged dog both on and off the Scurry Dog field.
Each workshop runs for approximately 4 hours (with short breaks), allowing plenty of time for practical coaching, demonstrations, discussion, and individual troubleshooting. Workshops are intentionally designed to be educational, engaging, and highly interactive while still keeping dogs successful and comfortable throughout the session.
Workshops are available with both Working and Auditing spots.
• Working Spots – Attend with your dog and participate directly in practical training exercises and coaching.
$175 per handler + dog (SOLD OUT FOR 8TH AUGUST, EOI/RSVP open for 29/08 working spots)
• Auditing Spots – Attend without a dog and learn through observation, discussion, demonstrations, and handler coaching. Auditing is an excellent option for handlers wanting to learn more before participating with their dog, for multi-dog households, or for those who simply enjoy deepening their training knowledge. Auditors will get plenty of opportunity to participate by assisting with set ups / being decoys / distractions.
$75 per person.
