SculptureFest 25! A weekend of drop in creative activities taking place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October.
Sunday 5th October activities will take place at Dunston Community Centre, Staiths Space and outdoor activities near Dunston Staiths.
Which wonderful creatures and plants live in and around our rivers? Explore this through making, building, music making, and printing!
At Dunston Community Centre:
- Create a fish at with artist Suzie Winsor
- Build creatures and plants out of Lego with BricksMcGee
At Staiths Space:
- Make your own print of Dunston Staiths with wood engraved blocks made by JP Kirvan and Orbis Community
Outdoor activities near Dunston Staiths:
- Create music inspired by sounds of the river with Hannabiell Sanders
- Design and wear cardboard bird wings with Gateshead Arts Team
- See the giant red kite puppet flying near Dunston Staiths!
