Sculpture Saturdays: Fair Play 29 August 2026
About this Event
Join us for Sculpture Saturdays: Fair Play, a series of free drop-in workshops where visitors are invited to explore, imagine, make and build together.
Fair Play is a fairground world created by over 100 Primary 5 pupils from Trinity and Victoria Primary Schools as part of Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop's Schools Programme. Beginning with the worlds imagined by the Primary 5s, the exhibition continues to evolve throughout August as participants create new attractions, characters, signs and structures to add to the fairgrounds.
Using recycled cardboard, wood off-cuts, paint and other reclaimed materials, visitors can design rides, invent mascots, build monuments, create maps, make signs and imagine entirely new parks and attractions.
