Unleash your creativity with our in-person sculptural pumpkin carving session! This event is perfect for adults who want to go beyond traditional pumpkin faces and craft amazing designs. Bring your carving skills or learn new techniques in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It's all about having a blast while making some spooky, artsy masterpieces. Come join us and make this pumpkin carving season extra special!
Instructor Candice Bloch starts with how to pick a good pumpkin and the right tools, then demonstrates the techniques. After that, you carve your own, with her help along the way. You'll go home with a seasonal, whimsical piece that's ready for the porch or the mantel.
Beginners and experienced artists are both welcome.
What to bring
Please bring the following:
- One large pumpkin (at least 11" across)
- Vegetable peeler
- Sharp small knife (e.g., X-Acto or similar)
- Spray bottle (for keeping the surface workable)
Optional but helpful: apron, small towel, container or bag for scraps.
Candice provides most of the other tools.
