Join us for a fascinating afternoon exploring the world of practical SFX. Facilitated by Steve Best of award-winning studio, FakeUp, who will share his experience and expertise of silicone and gelatine prosthetics.
We’ll explore creation of prosthetics and props for film and TV, followed by a hands-on demonstration of the application of scars and wounds.
We’ll see how to prepare, apply, blend, and colour the pieces, and you'll then have an opportunity to get stuck in yourselves learning to apply 1-2 pieces each, all supported by Steve.
The cost includes all the required materials, including the prosthetics, adhesive, blender and paints.
This course is suitable for those 18+.

Duration: 1 x 3-hour session
When: Saturday 22 Aug, 2pm – 5.15pm (includes 15-min break)
Price: £50 full / £45 members/ concessions, & under 25s
