Scroll Bracelet Workshop: Intro to Cold Forging Techniques

In this workshop, participants will work with mill-rolled brass to shape, hammer, punch, and refine a structured bracelet form. You’ll also learn how to create wire-formed chain links and closures, as well as how to finish and personalize your piece with crystals or simple inscriptions.

This class is beginner-friendly and offers a strong introduction to traditional metalworking techniques used in jewelry design.

What you’ll learn:

• Hammering, shaping, and punching brass
• Basic metal forming and structure
• Wire link construction and closures
• Filing and finishing techniques

No prior experience is necessary — just bring your creativity! All tools and materials are provided.

Please wear natural fibers, close-toed shoes, full length pants, and have any long hair pulled back. If you would like to bring your own safety glasses you may; otherwise, we will have extras here.

With over half a decade of experience, she specializes in traditional cold forging techniques, working with copper, brass, and mixed materials to create structured, wearable pieces.

Her work has been featured nationally and internationally, including in Elle Magazine, and is sold through independent retail spaces, markets, and her online platform. In addition to her studio practice, Chandra facilitates hands-on workshops focused on foundational techniques, material selection, and thoughtful construction.

With a background in medical laboratory science, she brings precision, process awareness, and a strong emphasis on safety into her teaching, creating a clear and supportive learning environment for participants.
