Scriptorium Session: Cloths of Identity (Practical Workshop)

On Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th September Voices Gloucester is hosting Scriptorium Sessions at Blackfriars with our friends at Gloucester History Festival.Join Jo Teague, for a ‘no experience required’ stitching workshop, where you’ll create your piece of textile art, which can be taken away, or can be given as a contribution to be a part of future Threads projects. You can come with your own ideas and materials, or we’ll support you with all the resources you need on the day.Alongside the workshop, on display will be the Costume For Gloucester from 2023, Community Quilts from 2024, along with a brilliant Boxing Booth by puppet maker and artist Caroline McCatty.We have 20 bookable spaces for this event, and 10 walk ins on the day.
