Scribble Station with Sunday Jemmott
Step into the vibrant world of Sunday Jemmott, an early-career artist whose colourful, texturally rich works exude joy. Working across painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media, Sunday transforms everyday materials into playful works that celebrate self-expression.
As Museum of Brisbane’s Artist in Residence, Sunday is creating an immersive new installation that will transform the Museum’s entryway into a scribble sanctuary, exploring drawing as an instinctive, genderless act and a powerful way of making sense of the world.
During Melt Festival, join Sunday’s drop-in workshops where you can draw alongside the artist and contribute to the Scribble Sanctuary before it opens in early 2027.
