About this Event
Join us at the BDC for a special screening of Everybody Street, the acclaimed documentary directed by Cheryl Dunn that explores New York City through the eyes of some of its most iconic street photographers.
Following the screening, director Cheryl Dunn and film subjects Martha Cooper, and Jamel Shabazz and will take part in a conversation.
Over the course of three years, Cheryl Dunn documented the photographers who have shaped the visual identity of New York’s streets. Featuring legendary artists including Martha Cooper, Jamel Shabazz, and Clayton Patterson, Everybody Street captures the energy, culture, and everyday moments that define the city. Through photography and personal storytelling, the film offers an intimate portrait of the artists dedicated to documenting NYC’s streets and communities.
