Following the premiere at Melbourne International Film Festival in 2022 and a national theatrical release, please join us for a screening of the film Under Cover as well as a panel discussion on the key themes.
Under Cover, shares the often secret lives of an eclectic group of women across Australia, it shines a light on the devastating reality that women over 50 are the fastest growing cohort experiencing homelessness in the country. Their loving but optimistic portraits reveal the struggles these women face, and lay bare the flaws in our society, as well as our economic fragility in the modern world.
Under Cover is narrated by Margot Robbie, written, directed and produced by documentary filmmaker Sue Thomson, and produced by Adam Farrington Williams.
Moderated and hosted by Dr Sarah Hattam & Dr Snjezana Bilic, Education Futures, UniSA.
