Celebrate Military History Month by experiencing the Lincoln Penny Films documentary, The SixTripleEight (2019). This documentary follows the lives of the 855 black women of the Women’s Army Corps (WACS) who were tasked with clearing the backlog of mail in the European Theater of the Second World War. Guests will enjoy an exclusive exploration of the Our Stories, Our Service exhibit at the Kentucky Historical Society, watch the film, and partake in a Q&A with the co-producer, Elizabeth Anne Helm-Frazier. Join us as we reflect on the service of these women and journey through their battle against racism, sexism and recognition for their service.
