Screening of the Portuguese film "Al Berto" followed by a Q&A session with the director

The Embassy of Portugal in Dublin is pleased to announce a screening of the film Al Berto (with English subtitles), followed by a Q&A session with the director, Vicente Alves do Ó.

Synopsis: “It's the summer of '75 in Sines, Portugal. Al Berto, the writer, embodies an entire moving generation. He and his friends exude youth, eccentricity and hope for the future - but right after the fall of Portugal's dictatorship system, the country is not yet ready for his love story”.

This event will take place on Wednesday 3rd July, at 6.00 p.m., at the Light House Cinema (Market St S, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 R6YE).

All are most welcome, including film enthusiasts and members of the Portuguese-speaking Community.
