About this Event

"Screenagers: Elementary School Edition addresses issues that elementary school-aged kids, parents, and educators are facing, i.e., smartwatches in class, unhooking from and monitoring video gaming, social media pressures, and exposure too young, what research shows is a healthy amount of screen time and many solutions to these and other challenges.

We know that many families and schools are struggling with their youngest children’s use of phones, computers, and watches. By watching the film together, we are taking the first steps in establishing a vulnerable village so we can share our struggles, hopes, and solutions in hopes of empowering us to parent in a way around technology that promotes the mental well-being of our children."
