Scrapstore Scavenger Hunt

With the cost of living crisis growing deeper each year, CoLab have teamed up with Exeter Scrapstore & Community Artist Jola Pawlikowska on an interesting project that asks participants to think outside the box, and get creative with what they find have.

We first will meet in Belmont Park, by the green gates as you enter the park and then walk through the park to the Scrapstore (Belmont Park Gordon Road, Exeter EX1 2DH ·) and spend 30 minutes exploring the Scrapstore.

Each participant will be given a basket to fill from the unusual contents of the scrapstore. The group will then make a short 5 minute walk to a room booked at CoLab and will then either individually or in groups will create a piece of art or sculpture or performance art, using the theme of “Cost of Living” using ONLY the pieces they have collected.
