Grab a camera, build your own props and recreate a famous film trailer!Whether you're behind the scenes or in the spotlight, this four-day workshop for 11–15 year olds is a chance to learn real filmmaking skills and collaborate as part of a creative team, guided by industry professionals.
Workshop dates:
Monday 6 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
Tuesday 7 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
Wednesday 8 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
Thursday 9 July: 10.00am–4.00pm
What's Involved:
Work collaboratively with your team to recreate a famous film trailer
Source, create & upcycle low-budget props and costumes
Get creative and come up with zero budget special effects
Showcase your work to friends and family with a special screening
What You'll Learn:
Basics of filmmaking, including cinematography and shooting techniques
How to be creative with limited resources
Teamwork and behind-the-scenes production roles

For ages 11-15
Participants must attend all 4 days
