The St. Michael Earth Care Team hosts a Scrap Metal Drive each April. Items that are comprised mostly of scrap metal may be recycled. See the lists of what is and is not acceptable for donation at https://www.stmichaelgl.org/scrap-metal-drive .
All scrap metal will be recycled by Friedland Industries, a local scrap metal processor in Lansing. Proceeds from the sale of the scrap metal are used for energy efficiency improvements for the church and school.
