Scrap and Yap One Year Anniversary Party!

Scrap and Yap is turning one! Over the past year, Scrap and Yap has grown into a community of like-minded crafty people from all around the twin cities. I've met so many cool people and new friends and I'm so excited to be celebrating one whole year of scrapping togther. This is a 21+ LGBTQ+ friendly crafting meet-up for anybody who loves to junk journal, scrapbook, collage, and chat with new friends. Supplies/ephemera, NA beverages, and snacks will be provided. This month, I'll have some extra special goodies and activities to celebrate our one year anniversary. Please bring a journal to work in and any ephemera you would like to share/trade. Thank you to The Coven Northeast for hosting us! There is on-site parking available.

This month, I'm also going to be collecting funds to donate to local rent-relief groups who sponsor families affected by ICE presence in the twin cities! This is happening through a raffle- Every Scrap & Yap ticket purchase includes raffle entries!

How it works:
You receive 1 raffle entry for every $5 spent on a Scrap and Yap ticket

• $5 = 1 entry
• $10 = 2 entries
• $20 = 4 entriesy
• And so on...
  Early ticket incentive: Buying in advance means more entries based on your ticket total. Please buy your entry as one ticket and not split into multiple tickets!

Additional raffle tickets will be available at the event for $10 each.

Ticket sales will be used to cover the cost of facilities rental, and remaining proceeds will be donated directly to rent relief funds (via Smitten Kitten rent relief)

Prizes include: curated junk journaling/stationery bundles, vintage stationary items, and special items collected from my recent trip to South Korea and Japan. Winners will be drawn during the event at 9 pm.

Scrap and Yap tickets are offered on a sliding scale, so you can choose whatever feels comfortable for you. I’ll also be holding aside a limited number of free spots because accessibility is important. If you’d like one, please message me as soon as you can. No explanation needed! Free spots will be first come first serve. Free tickets do not include a raffle entry. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
