Scranton's sixth annual Pride Party is a commemoration of the history of Pride. It's a celebration of how far we've come and a recognition of how far we still have to go. It centers Marsha P. Johnson's famous message: "No Pride for some of us without liberation for all of us." We'll have poetry, performances, and, of course, a whole lotta dancing. The night is MC'd by the inimitable Jinx Jamb-Famb Leonard. Mar Dabard will be presenting a special performance inspired by the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and all that led up to it. Cowgirl Pills will be bringing the best beats and keeping you dancing all night long. We have a few more performers to announce and surprises up our sleeves too, so keep an eye out for updates.
