The mission of the RLE Go Fore It! Foundation is "To introduce youth of diverse backgrounds to the game of golf; while supporting their personal and professional growth by way of exposure, mentorship and scholarship."

The mission of Palmetto Works Community Development Corporation is "empowering youth and fostering community well-being through education and leadership development."

"Scramble Fore Exposure" executes on these missions by:

• Exposing youth to a golf course, golf facilities, and the golf industry
• Introducing youth to successful professionals and potential mentors
• Grant access to a college campus

Why Golf?

Golf is a sport that teaches patience, focus, discipline, and integrity. Young golfers benefit from enhanced physical fitness, improved hand-eye coordination, and increased concentration. Beyond the sport itself, golf instills invaluable life skills, such as emotional control, social etiquette, and self-confidence. These are attributes that our participants begin to develop throughout their journey with us. Both organizations strive to show participants that golf is not limited to any one socioeconomic background; it is a sport for everyone. Through this experience, our goal is for our youth to understand that golf can serve as a pathway to broader professional and personal horizons.

Proceeds from this event will fund both organizations in the implementation of their respective missions. The RLE Go Fore It! Foundation supports its annual college scholarship fund. The Palmetto Works CDC supports its annual six-week summer Freedom School.
