Join us for our monthly evening of wordplay as we unite Scrabble players of all ages, abilities and lexicons.We meet monthly at a pub in Parkdale, where they’ve got a great selection of food and drinks. No fee to enter, but we ask that you support our host venue and enjoy a meal and/or drinks with your games.
At our last event, we had players varying in ages from 13 to 97 and varying abilities from novice to expert. Everyone is welcome!
For newcomers, I provide The Cheat Sheet with useful words to get you started. For competitive players, this is a good primer for the upcoming Scrabble Players Championship in South Bend, Indiana the following weekend. As host, I will do my best to mix and match players of similar or varying abilities so that everyone has a good time. Everyone can vie for a Theme Word Prize!
