We’re excited to invite you to this year’s AGM… with a twist!
🎉 The Rugby Scouts Summer Fete 🎉
📅 Wednesday 8th July
⏰ 6:00–8:00pm
📍 12th Rugby Scout Hut
Each year we come together to celebrate everything our young people have achieved, and this year, we’re doing it in true summer style!
Alongside our AGM, we’ll be raising funds for something really special: bringing back our much-loved campfire space, complete with a new fire pit and permanent outdoor seating.
Campfires are at the heart of Scouting, they’re where skills are learned, friendships grow, confidence builds, and memories are made. This improved outdoor space will allow us to run even more exciting activities all year round, from campfire cooking and ceremonies to group gatherings and social events.
What to expect:
Bring a blanket and a picnic, and enjoy:
Fun games for all ages
Tombola prizes
Ice creams
Tuck shop treats
💡 We need YOUR help to make it amazing!
This year, we have two fun fundraising challenges:
🎁 1. Tombola Donations
Every Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer is asked to bring a tombola prize to their section meeting during the week beginning 15th June.
💦 2. Soak a Scout Leader!
Children who raise £20 or more will earn the chance to take part in this fun (and very splashy!) supervised activity – where our brave Scout leaders have volunteered to get soaked for a great cause!
All funds raised will go directly towards our new fire pit project.
Fundraising forms will be sent home with all members during the week beginning 8th June.
We’d love to see as many of you there as possible, it promises to be a fantastic time for the whole family. Let’s come together, celebrate a brilliant year, and create something special for our Scouts’ future.
