On Saturday March 1st, the National Cryptologic Museum (NCM) will be hosting its annual "Scout Day" event, offering a unique opportunity for scouts and families to engage in an immersive day of learning and fun.This year's event is designed to bring scouts closer to understanding the fascinating world of cryptology, while fulfilling partial badge requirements. With a wide range of hands-on activities and demonstrations, scouts will have the chance to explore quilt codes, participate in a thrilling scavenger hunt, and learn about American Sign Language (ASL), among other exciting activities.
In celebration of scouting and in recognition of those who may not be able to attend the museum's scouting programs throughout the year, "Scout Day" is an opportunity for scouts from all over to meet, engage, and work together on elements of their badge requirements.
Participants will also get the chance to interact with professionals in STEM careers and learn about the missions and career fields at the National Security Agency (NSA).
