Hi there! I knew this day would one day come and so, now, it has! My departure from Duvel marks my retirement from craft beer (most likely lol), and thus I want to share a beer with all of YOU one last time before I go. It's no mystery that the craft beer industry is FULL of incredible people, and I've had the privilege to meet so many of you over my 13 years in it. It would mean the WORLD to me if you could all come out one last time to have a beer with me! I'm giving you ample notice to make travel plans, schedule time off, or hire sitters. Ha!
Asa of Flying Saucer has been good enough to allow me to host this big event at Flying Saucer Downtown securing the entire upstairs just for me and allowing me to pick the beers for the night! I promise to make it worth your while. We're doing a Duvel 200 (where we attempt to drink 200 in one night!). They'll be $8 only on this night!! We're also putting 4 beers of my choosing that have some sentimental value to me or have been monumental throughout my career. I'll share when I get confirmation on the list. They will also be available as Scott's Flight too!
Please make some time to come by on what will likely be a very special night with awesome people full of reconnection, comradery, and celebration. My time in craft beer would never have been what it was without each and every one of you!
Oh, I'll be staying the night downtown too. Do with that info what you will. Ha!
