About this Event

Join us for the Scottish Half Marathon 2022 and support JDRF's world class research into type 1 diabetes. The route is seriously flat & rapid – if you want to set a personal best for a half marathon, then this is the event for you.

Starting conveniently at 11am just outside Edinburgh, you will run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse.

The cost

Charity places for the Scottish Half Marathon 2022 are now open!

Registration fee: £25

Minimum sponsorship: £200

The moment you have your Scottish Half Marathon 2022 place and have paid your registration fee we will send you a running pack full of information, with lots of ideas on how to raise as much money as possible.

We would ask that you commit to raising a minimum sponsorship amount of £200.

How to sign up

To secure your place you need to do the following:

Step 1: Pay your non-refundable registration fee to us.

Step 2: Visit the Scottish Half Marathon website to register your JDRF place with them. (If you have already completed this step then you should get confirmation of your place shortly.)

Own place

If you’ve got your own place in the Scottish Half Marathon 2022 and still want to run for us we’d be thrilled to have you on the team. Just raise as much money as you can to support our type 1 diabetes research and let us know about your run so we can support you on your journey!
