Come and join us for a fun-filled Scottish Dance taster course for beginners! Whether you have two left feet or have enjoy barn dance and ceilidh in the past, this event is perfect for complete novices and dancers who have some experience, If you are eager to learn and have a great time this course could be for you. The six-week course at the West Park United Reformed Church, located on Spen Lane in Leeds, UK, starting on the 10th Jan at 7:30 .
During this taster course, our friendly instructor will guide you through the basic steps and some basic formations of traditional Scottish dances. You'll learn the lively reels, elegant strathspeys, and joyful jigs that make Scottish dancing so unique and enjoyable, all to live music. No partner is required, as we'll rotate partners throughout the evening, giving you the chance to meet new people and make new friends.
