Known for his mastery of every saxophone and unique instruments, multi-instrumentalist Scott Robinson is among the greatest improvisers of our time. “Scott has been a central part of my inspiration for over 30 years," says Maria Schneider, “his level of mastery and expressivity are in a category all his own.”
Maria Schneider calls Scott Robinson “a true genius in jazz.” Come witness the magic of their 37-year collaboration with the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra on January 31st as Robinson performs his own compositions alongside works composed and arranged by Schneider, Guerra, and select Studio Jazz Writing Program composers.
