Scotland Loves Animation is excited to announce the 2025 education day - open to any students of animation or related fields. Thanks to Anime Limited and Shout Studio's sponsorship we were able to make the Education Day possible this year.
This year's education day features another world-class lineup of guests from the world of Japanese animation - first up is Baku Kinoshita (The Last Blossom), winner of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards for his original anime "Odd Taxi" previously. Next up is Henry Wong - a Visual Development Artist whose work you will have seen in a wide range of works including more recently, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and has worked with familiar names such as Disney, TGC, Sony, Paramount, Aardman.
All of these guests will offer up their own experiences from their time and unique perspectives working within animation, overseen by and in discussion with author of Anime: A History Jonathan Clements and Jack Liang of Polygon Pictures.
