A legendás német rock banda, a Scorpions idén ünnepelte fennállásának 60. évfordulóját egy hatalmas koncerttel szülővárosukban, Hannoverben, jövőre pedig ismét turnéra indulnak, hogy megünnepeljék ezt a varázslatos, sikerekkel teli hat évtizedet. Természetesen a zenekar ezúttal is gondolt magyar rajongóira, így június 20-án megrengetik az MVM Dome-ot is időtlen slágereikkel.
Belegondolni is furcsa, hogy az elmúlt 60 év alatt mekkorát fordult a világ: a 60-as évek közepén alakult Scorpions olyan büszkeségévé vált Németországnak, mint híres márkáik, például a Mercedes vagy a BMW. A klasszikus rockzene keresztapjai mindig nyitottak voltak a kalandokra, és szerencsére a világ is tárt karokkal fogadta őket: több ezer koncertet adtak a Föld minden szegletében. 1988-ban ők voltak az első nyugati rockzenekar, akik öt egymást követő napon adtak teltházas koncertet a még szovjet Leningrádban, de elsők között játszottak Kínában és Délkelet-Ázsiában is, megnyitva az ajtókat más nyugati zenekarok előtt.
A banda emellett eladott több mint 100 millió lemezt, a kezdetek óta rendszeres szereplői a világ legrangosabb toplistáinak, aranyminősítéseik számát szinte lehetetlen nyomon követni. Olyan zenekarok dolgozták fel dalaikat az évtizedek során, mint a Smashing Pumpkins, a Green Day, a Korn vagy a System Of A Down. A Scorpions öröksége, a rockzenére gyakorolt hatása elvitathatatlan. A zenekar tagjait túl a 60. évfordulón is a közös koncertezés, a turnék és a közönség szeretete éltetik. A Scorpions a magyar rajongóival is megünnepli ezt a kerek évfordulót, így mindenkinek ott a helye a legendás zenekar június 20-i koncertjén az MVM Dome-ban.

A koncertre elsőként a zenekar hivatalos rajongói klubjának tagjai válthatnak jegyet december 10-én, 11 órától. A regisztrált Live Nation tagok december 11-én, 11 órakor csatlakozhatnak az elővásárláshoz, míg a teljes körű jegyértékesítés december 12-én, 11 órakor indul.

The legendary German rock band Scorpions celebrated their 60th anniversary this year with a massive concert in their hometown of Hanover, and next year they will once again embark on a tour to honor these magical, success-filled six decades. Naturally, the band has not forgotten its Hungarian fans: on June 20 they will shake the MVM Dome with their timeless hits.
It’s strange to think that in the last 60 years the world has changed tremendously in every sense: and the Scorpions since middle of 60s have become a source of national pride for Germany, just like their famous brands such as Mercedes or BMW. The godfathers of classic rock have always been open to adventure—and fortunately, the world has welcomed them with open arms: they have played thousands of concerts in all corners of the globe. In 1988, they became the first Western rock band to play five consecutive sold-out shows in Soviet-era Leningrad, and they were among the first to perform in China and Southeast Asia, opening doors for other Western bands.
The band has also sold more than 100 million records and has been a regular on the world’s most prestigious charts since the beginning—keeping track of their gold certifications is nearly impossible. Over the decades, bands such as Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, Korn, and System of a Down have covered their songs. The legacy and influence of Scorpions on rock music are indisputable. Even beyond their 60th anniversary, the members are driven by performing together, touring, and the love of their audience. Scorpions will celebrate this milestone with their Hungarian fans as well—so everyone should be there on June 20 at their concert in the MVM Dome.
Tickets will first be available to members of the band’s official fan club starting December 10 at 11 am. Registered Live Nation members can join the presale on December 11 at 11 am, while general ticket sales begin on December 12 at 11 am.
