For the first time, the hosts of the Horror Pod Class are showing an animated feature! Pre-dating the live-action Scooby-Doo movie by four years, Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island marked a turning point for the franchise, introducing metafictional elements and actual supernatural shenanigans. Join us for a FREE screening and then stick around afterward as Tyler and Orrin engage in their customary semi-academic banter about the history of Scooby-Doo , zombies, Voodoo, the surprising parallels between this and the live-action film, Signal Horizon’s latest pop-up experience, and the unlikely connection between Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island and Trick ‘r Treat . THE HORROR POD CLASS is a monthly free screening hosted by Orrin Grey and Tyler Unsell where they seek out horror films that could be useful in a school setting. Screenings start at 7pm with a live podcast recording taking place after.
