WALDO WITT (ALBUM RELEASE SHOW)
$10, Doors 7:30, show 8:30.
Scivic Rivers is the new musical nom de plume of North Carolina American singer-songwriter Randy Bickford; the new self-titled album is his seventh full-length album. Bickford’s music has earned him wide recognition from fellow musicians and critics alike. Catchy, thought provoking and atmospheric, Pitchfork Magazine described Randy’s writing as “tracing a single thought or sketching a single image throughout the course of several bars, building suspense and making you wait patiently for the payoff”.
Waldo is releasing his debut LP 'Long Daze, Dark Nights' and kicking off an east coast tour with a full band. The album embraces 60s and
70s psychedelia inspirations like Todd Rundgren, King Crimson, and Brian Wilson, alongside a continued adoration of 80s soft rock and disco, resulting in a vibrant sounding record, full of hooks and charismatic structural twists.
