? SciGala 2024: More Than Just Sustainability ?Get excited everyone, it’s time for Science Society’s annual SciGala! In the spirit of this year’s National Science Week theme; ‘Species Survival’ we’re highlighting that survival only succeeds when it promises the continual support to thrive, not just survive. Similarly to last year, we have chosen to fundraise for OneGirl as we are focused on building a sustainable relationship with a cause that actually pursues positive action.
Join Science Society ANU on August 17th 7:00pm-11:00pm at the Old Parliament House, to celebrate science with friends and enjoy a night of delicious food, drinks and music, whilst choosing to make a bigger impact on the lives of girls around the world. All net profits will be donated to OneGirl. OneGirl is a not-for-profit organisation, on a mission to break down barriers girls face when accessing their right to an education. In doing so, they are positively changing lives, enabling girls to stay in school and take control of their futures.
There will also be a raffle on the night to raise funds for OneGirl. When you go to purchase your ticket for SciGala 2024 you will be able to also purchase raffle tickets, ensuring you have a chance to win one of our amazing prizes. We will also be selling raffle tickets on the night.
SciGala 2024 is an excuse to come in your finest black tie/ cocktail outfits! And if you wish, thrift your outfit for the theme of sustainability or incorporate a unique environmentally-friendly twist!
All things included are music, dance floor, a beautiful bar with drinks to accompany the two-course sit down dinner, a photobooth and professional photography.

- Tickets go live on 17/6/2024 at 12pm.

- Tickets are inclusive of a two-course sit down dinner and drinks served throughout the night. Tickets will be $110 for Science Society Members and $120 for Non-Members. ?
- Table allocations will also be available, which will be limited to 10 people per table. Please note that we will try our best to honour chosen allocations, however they are subject to some adjustments in order to fit all attendees. ??
