About this Event

The symposium will be the launching event for the AI + Science event series, co-hosted by Jacobs School of Engineering (JSOE) Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) and Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) at UC San Diego. This first event will put a particular emphasis on AI & physical sciences with contributions from physics, engineering, oceanography, and others. The event will also highlight research from climate science as a result of the DOE funded Deep Climate Extreme project.
