returns with a new nonfiction panel, highlighting some of the year's best nonfiction released this Spring and Summer, and the launch of their Summer Reading challenge! Tonight's panel of authors includes Anna Badkhen, former war correspondent and award-winning author of the Literary Hub “Most Anticipated Books” selection To See Beyond, aiming to answer the question: how can we reconcile ourselves to the world we have made?; Rowan Jacobson, James Beard Award-winning author of In Defense of Sunlight: The Surprising Science of Sun Exposure, a trenchant investigation into the “zero-sun policy”, upending everything we thought we knew about sun exposure, to be released on June 16; and physicist Karmela Padavic-Callaghan, author of Entangled States: A Life According to Quantum Physics, in which they unveil some of the most mind-bending physics concepts in the universe—and use them to illuminate their own fascinating life story. Associate Books Editor at Scientific American Brianne Kane moderates the discussion, before an audience Q&A and signings; plus get the Scientific American Summer Reading Challenge bingo card!
