Science Superstars is a brand new exciting biology science workshop designed specially for 2023’s Summer Reading Challenge’s active themed, “Ready, Set, Read”.
THE WORKSHOP – 90 mins approx
Hands-on science activities to teach children about the role of heart & lungs in sport and exercise. Youngsters will learn heart & lung anatomy, how to use stethoscopes, sphygmomanometers, and other scientific equipment. We will bring anatomy models too. Youngsters carry out a fizzing fun experiment to capture carbon dioxide gas and learn fun facts about oxygen and CO2. During the session we will play team games to get our heart & respiration rates increasing'
£10/child (plus booking fee)
