Science Sparks Workshop!
🧬 Discover the Secret Code of Life: DNA!
I’m hosting a hands-on STEM workshop this November where kids will get to explore DNA—the “recipe of life”—through simple, fun experiments and crafts. At this age, children are naturally curious, and early exposure to science not only excites them but also builds confidence and a love for learning that lasts.
Activities include:
✅ Making their own DNA Bracelet (with colorful beads)
✅ Creating a DNA Blueprint Stick
✅ Extracting real DNA from strawberries 🍓 or Bananas 🍌
✅ Take-home pack: DNA booklet + bracelet + blueprint
Duration: ~1 hour
Location: Newark (exact TBD)
Fee: $10 per child (all materials included)
Limited spots: Not more than 25 at this point. We may have to split into two groups if the actual headcount is above 10.
👉 The session is designed for ages 5–7, but if your child is a little younger or older and excited to join, I’ll adapt the activities so they can enjoy and learn at their own level.
