S- Science
T- Technology
E- Engineering
A- Art
M- Math
Join us for a Physics Extravaganza, Beekeeping Demo, Make your own Recycled Artwork, the Science of Music, take home free seedlings, and more!
Show times for the Physics Extravaganza are 10:30AM and 11:15AM and each program lasts 30-45 minutes. Sign up for shows will be at the door upon arrival at the Gillespie Museum grounds; however, the Physics Extravaganza will take place in nearby Sage Hall. We recommend either coming to the first showing of the Physics Extravaganza (arrive by 10:15 to sign up) and then returning to the Gillespie grounds to visit our STEAM booths, or checking out our STEAM booths and then finishing up the event at the second Physics Extravaganza showing. Space is limited in the physics lab, so arrive early to sign up for your spot!
Science Saturdays are fun for all ages*! Registration is requested but not required - this helps us plan our event.
During Science Saturday, the Gillespie Museum is open to the public. We invite you to visit our exhibits and grounds, even if you don't plan to participate in Science Saturday activities.
*Scientists under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
