Science on Tap: Coin Flip Paradoxes

If you had the pleasure of joining us last March for our educationally entertaining session on measuring pi with spaghetti noodles, you know that you are in for a hands-on, mathematical delight as we bring Dr. Mihai Nica from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics back for his second appearance at Science on Tap!

Sure, Monte Hall might fool us, but nothing could be simpler that understanding coin flips right? WRONG! In this probability paradox extravaganza, we will learn about some very simple sounding coin flip problems that are easy to state but surprisingly hard to understand. Bring your coins and be ready to flip!
