About this Event
Join us for Science in the Park!
Science in the Park is a free, family-friendly celebration of curiosity and discovery! Enjoy hands-on activities like building and launching water rockets, an egg-drop challenge, and interactive live animal demonstrations. Take part in fun science experiments and access free health screenings. With engaging stations for all ages, expert volunteers, and plenty of surprises, this event turns the outdoors into an interactive classroom where everyone can explore STEAM, ask questions, and try new things. Perfect for kids, families, and anyone who loves learning—come play, experiment, and discover something new!
Science in the Park is a biennial event hosted by Supervisor Elisa Márquez and created by the late Supervisor Richard Valle. It is an opportunity for the community to learn more about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), the environment, and health, while having fun and supporting the school districts in District 2; Hayward, Union City, Newark and Fremont.
