About this Event
Stress is part of everyday life but how we experience and respond to it can feel very different from person to person.
How to Practice Safe Stress is a thought-provoking and engaging Science Café discussion that explores stress through the lens of long-standing observations in relationship coaching and behavioral patterns between men and women.
Drawing from the work of Dr. John Gray (Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus; Why Mars and Venus Collide) and decades of applied coaching experience, this session invites participants to reflect on how stress shapes communication, behavior, and relationships at home, at work, and in daily life.
In this session, we will explore:
- Common patterns in how men and women tend to respond to stress
- How stress can lead to misunderstandings and emotional distance
- The impact of stress on personal and professional relationships
- Long-term stress patterns and their effects on well-being
- Practical strategies to manage stress and respond more intentionally to others
Join us for a thoughtful, guided discussion on stress, gender, and everyday relationships!
