Attention High School Students!

Joseph Choma, Ph.D., Director of the School of Architecture and Professor of Architecture at Florida Atlantic University, will present “The Future Is Now: How AI Is Shaping Architecture.”

The presentation will explore how the FAU School of Architecture has integrated computational thinking and making throughout its five-year curriculum to prepare students for a future in which AI will be an increasingly important tool. Dr. Choma will also share FAU’s approach to combining innovative research methods with the realities of professional practice to address challenges in the built environment.

Students will also hear about the college application process for schools of architecture from an admissions perspective, including guidance on portfolios.
