School’d DJ Academy has partnered with Eats n’ Beats Community Dinners to give young people the chance to learn, build confidence and perform in a real community event environment.
We are looking for students aged 9–17 years who love music and are interested in DJing.
You do not need to already know how to DJ. We’d love to hear from both established student DJs who are ready to perform and students who are curious, enthusiastic and keen to learn.
Students who are new to DJing can join our School’d DJ Academy school holiday programme, where they’ll learn the foundations of DJing in a supportive, practical environment.
Following the holiday programme, students will be given the opportunity to perform at selected Eats n’ Beats Community Dinners at Jordan Field, Memorial Park.
It’s a chance to learn new skills, build confidence, develop stage presence and experience what it’s like to DJ for a real audience.
There are only 12 places available, so we encourage interested students to register early.
School Holiday Sessions
28 September – 1 October/5–8 October
Cost: $40
Jam Factory, Historic Village – session times TBC
Whether you already DJ or have simply thought, “I’d love to give that a go,” we’d love to hear from you.
