School of Physics & Astronomy - Postgraduate Research Fair

For students interested in applying for a PhD, we are pleased to announce our annual School of Physics & Astronomy Postgraduate Research Fair! Come join us in person to hear more about the research opportunities here in Glasgow, discuss potential research areas, and learn about applying for postgraduate study. It's a fantastic chance to explore exciting research projects, chat with current PhD students and faculty, and get a real feel for what postgraduate life is all about. Whether you're curious about the cosmos or the fundamentals of physics, this event is perfect to kickstart your journey. Don't miss out on the fun and inspiration!

We will begin at 2 pm in Kelvin 222 for introductions from our research groups. This will be followed by mingling in the Physics Common Room, where you will be able to chat about opportunities in detail with representatives from the groups (snacks and soft drinks provided!). We will conclude with a discussion of how to apply for PhDs back in 222 at around 4 pm. You are free to attend the parts of the programme of most interest.
