About this Event
What is the Research Conference?
You are invited to the ‘Anglia Ruskin School of Medicine Research Conference and Lord Ribeiro Lecture: Research for Inclusive Healthcare’, a brilliant opportunity for staff, students and members of our wider research community to come together, to share and learn about the innovative research taking place. In addition to the Lord Ribeiro lecture and our guest speakers, we will have presentations from our broad research community, providing an opportunity to find out about active research projects at the School of Medicine.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to network and consider how we can foster new approaches to inclusive healthcare and strengthen our research outputs going forward.
Speakers and Talks
We are pleased to announce that for our 2026 conference we are partnering with the Lord Ribeiro lecture, which will be given by Professor Sir Michael Marmot. Sir Marmot is Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London and Director of The UCL Institute of Health Equity.
We are pleased to welcome a guest speaker during the morning of the conference; Professor Margaret Greenfields is Professor of Social Policy at Anglia Ruskin University. Margaret’s key focus is on leveraging the potential for policy analysis, design and implementation to enhance equity of outcomes for minoritised communities and individuals at risk of discrimination and marginalisation, including in healthcare contexts.
Please Note: Registration Details
Due to high demand for this event, we kindly ask all attendees to specify whether you will be joining us for the full event or only part of the day when completing your registration.
