May Crowning is a traditional Roman Catholic ritual held during May. The Blessed Virgin is crowned with a crown of flowers honoring Mary as “the Queen of May.” This is an annual tradition in our parish school. During this School Mass, we will also celebrate with our students who have just received their First Holy Communion.All representatives from all classrooms will present flowers in procession to our Blessed Mother. One of our eighth grade students will crown the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
